9AM – 7PM, Bozar – Centre for Fine Arts

Alexander D’Hooghe, on behalf of ORG, Platform for a Permanent Modernity and the new Center for Urbanism at MIT will speak about past and current work that addresses urban sprawl through the creation of cultural, civic and monumental interventions within these peri-urban environments. The talk calls attention to his practice of simultaneously working at both the macro and micro scales to create systemic urban solutions nuanced by the human-scaled points of design.
