Project

Island Transformation, Ile-de-Nantes

This project focused on the gradual redevelopment of the 'Isle de Nantes'. During an intense 5-year period, a successive transformation of the island's brownfield sites and shipyards resulted in a series of seven new urban neighborhoods. Each of these has its own distinct character and urban form, and all are well connected to the center of the city. This curatorial mission followed in the footsteps of a previous one curated by Alexandre Chemetoff.
