Project

Marseille Aix: Twin Cities project

The study for Aix- Marseille in the Provence (France) proposes physical transformations of this fast urbanizing, congested and increasingly disorganized territory. The study analyzes the larger systems at work in the area, but proposes concrete and pragmatic strategic projects, concreted in specific places, but with the capacity to transform the system as a whole. the ORG contribution to this project focused on intermodal hubs and stations. We identified proper locations, provided capacity analysis and initial design, including a basic typology of stations that would provide a unifying element across a vast and diverse region.
